"When I first met Nikki, I was not only a young mother who had recently lost my daughter to SIDS, but also in a very toxic and abusive relationship with a man who stripped me of my confidence and identity. She helped me start moving forward again without leaving my angel daughter behind, but carrying her with me every step of the way. She taught me coping mechanisms to handle my grief and made my "crazy thoughts" seem normal for a grieving mother. Nikki made me rediscover the strength that i still had inside of me to finally escape from the hell I was living in. She supported me every step of the way, and continues to do so now, almost four years later. I know I will never be the same person I was before the death of my daughter, but I can honestly say that I can once again feel happiness without guilt. Her nonjudgemental and easy going personality allowed me to feel comfortable from day one. She always knows exactly the right questions to ask, or offer the tools I need, so that I can see the positive steps that I need to take.

She has truly been my "angel in disguise", and I could never thank her enough... For helping me find myself again."
